Josh and I went on a nice long hike last weekend. The trails are pretty much in the center of Austin which is so weird to me. We just parked our car right off the highway and headed out to the trail. The first picture is further south (hence no water) and called Twin Falls (I guess there are 2 falls in the Spring when there's water). The other two pics are of Sculpture Falls where there was plenty o water. The water was nice and clear (you can't really tell from the pictures) and surprisingly not that cold. We had no idea there'd be so much water; we didn't bring suits to swim. No big fish and only a few turtles (swimming near turtles really freaks me out). Whoever comes to visit will have to take this little trip with us; it's a great adventure!

ONE NEEDS to be very caeful of the turtles... Kin of like Jaws o fhe freshwater environment.
That looks so fun...and no sand!
How cool...those rocks remind me of the north shore of Lake Tahoe...what kind of turtles? Auntie Di
