Okay guys, I'm finally posting something. I'm sorry for the extreme delay. We've spent the last several weeks either painting or wandering the aisles of Lowes searching for who knows what. The room above was a lovely lavender shade that needed 2 layers of primer. Yikes! We've gone through almost 3 rolls of painters tape. We're holding off on any more painting for a bit. It's exhausting , tedious, but worth it work. 
Yes yellow. What goes with yellow? Plastic showers curtains and beige towels don't. Any suggestions? Gray or blueish gray? Josh and I are not the interior designers we thought we were when we started....
Our 'master suite' was also the hideous lavender. The office area is actually a green color(how we bought it) that goes well with the taupe/beige color we chose.We also switched out the fan and mounted an lcd tv. If you look carefully you can see that Josh hid the tv wires with this rubber tubing (he painted it too). The tv can actually swing out to face the computer. Pretty neat!
I 'made the bed' and centered the cat specifically for the great photo. We did get a new bed. Josh wakes up without pain! It's awesome.

The chocolate wall. We painted over a very nasty shade of salmon. It a very big wall in need of art/shelving/photos. Again, Josh and I are clueless about decorating but we'll get there.

We also got this taller dining room table. The other four chairs still have the plastic wrapper on their seats too. I would like to paint this room an earthy green in the future. And Josh wants the kitchen a dark red. Christmas anyone? I promise I'll post more often.
