I made breakfast this morning. Scrambled eggs with tarragon, goat cheese, corn, and tomatoes. Weird but good. I remember attempting to make Mother's Day breakfast for my mom as a kid many times. Everything was a different temperature; nothing hot or tasty. But she ate it with such joy. My mother is the greatest person I know. Really. She is selfless, enthusiastic, and just plain remarkable. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful person in my life. There is definitely something about the mother-daughter bond. My mom enriches my life. I want to be a more giving daughter, a better wife and a more genuine, selfless person because of her. I love you mom!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

What?!
I woke up this morning before Josh and found this little note on the counter. My first thought was, "Oh my gosh! Am I pregnant?" (this was before coffee). I came to and realized that it was just a very sweet note. Gee, I guess the guy really likes me and wants to have kids someday.
